LIST OF TOWNS AND COUNTIES WHERE THE WEARING OF A MASK IS MANDATORY OUTSIDE
- Amiens (Somme): the mask is mandatory in areas where there is a high concentration of population, since August 7. These are the pedestrian streets of the city center from Monday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Saint Leu district and part of Saint-Germain les Halles, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays , Sundays, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Annecy (Haute-Savoie): wearing a mask is compulsory in the pedestrian zone of the old town where the streets are "cramped" from Tuesday 4 August.
- Argelès-sur-mer (Pyrénées-Orientales): the mask is compulsory in the pedestrian walkways and in the markets until August 31.
- Barcarès (Pyrénées Orientales): the mayor of the town issued a prefectural decree. taking effect on August 3, which makes it compulsory to wear "nasal and oral" protection in public places in the city. This concerns the Place du Tertre, the Place de la République, the Place de la Coudalère as well as the Lydia site and all the non-covered markets.
- Bayonne (Pyrénées-Atlantiques): in the city center from Monday 3 August.
- Biarritz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques): in very busy areas from Monday 3 August.
- Biscarosse (Landes): a decree establishes the obligation to wear a mask for anyone aged 11 and over on avenue de la Plage, between rue du Touring club and boulevard des Sables.
- Bourges (Cher): wearing a mask is compulsory in the hyper center area from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., from Wednesday 5 August 2020
- Chamonix (Haute-Savoie): wearing a mask has become compulsory in pedestrian areas, the Montenvers square, the Mont-Blanc square on market days, the rue des Moulins, the rue du Docteur Paccard, the rue Joseph Vallot, the quays of Arve, avenue Michel Croz, avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, the forecourt of the Aiguille du Midi, avenue Ravanel le Rouge, as well as any public space welcoming flea markets and garage sales.
- Concarneau (Finistère): wearing a mask is compulsory in all the streets of the walled city, on the ramparts, the Petit Château, the Place St-Guénolé and the Carré des Larrons from 10 am to 10 pm.
- Honfleur (Calvados): since a decree of July 30, wearing a mask is compulsory in the old port sector, the streets and shopping places of the hyper-center, all food and non-food markets, flea markets and garage sales, the parks and gardens of the city center, the west pier, the beach and the car parks.
- La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime): in the streets of the Old Port and the hypercentre, since July 22.
- Le Grau-du-Roi (Gard): in the pedestrian streets since July 18.
- Le Touquet (Pas-de-Calais): in the city center from this Saturday August 1st.
- Lille (North): certain areas of the European metropolis of Lille, from Monday 3 August.
- Nice (Alpes-Maritimes): "In some streets of the city", from Monday August 3, according to the announcement posted on Twitter by the mayor Christian Estrosi.
- Noirmoutier-en-l'ÃŽle (Vendée): in markets, flea markets and garage sales as well as on Grande rue, rue du Rosaire, and the esplanade of Plage des Dames, since July 17.
- Orléans (Loiret): on the banks of the Loire, in the evening and at night (from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.), and on all flea markets and garage sales, since Friday July 31.
- Perros-Guirec (Côtes d'Armor): the "coastal and commercial" sectors from 10 am to 7 pm, since Friday July 31. Note that the obligation was already valid for the markets.
- Quiberon (Morbihan): on several busy roads in the city since July 24.
- Quimper (Finistère): wearing a mask is compulsory from August 4 in "all pedestrian areas in the city center" from 9 am to 7 pm.
- Saint-Brieuc (Côte d'Armor): in the city center and during any event or event bringing together more than 10 people, since July 20.
- Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Villaine): in the inner city and on the ramparts since Thursday, July 30.
- Saint-Tropez (Var): on a large perimeter of the town, including the port, the town center and the old town. This measure takes effect from Friday August 7 at midnight for a period of one month and is imposed on anyone over the age of 11.
- Toulouse (Haute-Garonne): the mayor of the city, Jean-Luc Moudenc announced that the wearing of the mask would be compulsory from Wednesday August 5, quai and place St. Pierre, quai Lucien Lombard, quai and place de la Sea bream and Henri-Martin walk from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- Tours (Indre-et-Loire): from August 7, the prefecture makes the mask compulsory between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. in an area including Vieux-Tours or the banks of the Loire.
