FRENCH MINISTER SEGOLENE ROYAL CONFIRMED THE EVENTS DEDICATED TO THE FOREST

USPA NEWS - Segolene Royal has participated October 29, at the conference "Ministerial meeting on REDD + Forests and Climate Change" in London, at the invitation of Prince of Wales. The French Minister, confirmed that the Conference would dedicate a day to the issue of forests & climate change on 1st December.

Meanwhile, at Le Bourget, more than twenty of forest-related events will be organised in the climate generations space.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segolene Royal French Minister of Ecology and Energy, explained the central role of forests in the fight against climate change because they are the second largest carbon sink in the world after the ocean. Nevertheless, 18 million hectares of forest were lost in 2014.
