To examine the response to the alleged damages, the Prime Minister decided to create a compensation commission within the framework of the 2024 Olympic Games. On the one hand, this commission will establish, before the opening of the Games, the guidelines relating to damages and their compensation. It will share these indications with the stakeholders potentially concerned. Furthermore, after the Games, it will receive requests from interested parties and will formulate compensation proposals to the competent ministries.
Ms. Dominique Laurent, State Councilor and former president of the French Anti-Doping Authority, was appointed on June 7 as president of the commission. She immediately began her work, in particular to meet representatives of the professions concerned. All the administrations concerned will provide their support.
