USPA NEWS - Françoise Hardy, the iconic French singer, from the yé-yé years (60’s) , died this evening on June 11, 204, at the age of 80. She had suffered from pharyngeal cancer for several years.
The press learned of this death, through the post of his son Thomas Dutronc who published on his Instagram account "Mom is gone", alongside a photo of his mother carrying him and him as a baby.
Thomas Dutronc, also a singer, is the son of Françoise Hardy and Jacques Dutronc, famous singer of the 60's, announced the death of the 80-year-old singer, icon on his Facebook account this Tuesday evening.
