USPA NEWS - A very strong 6.8-magnitude earthquake has struck Morocco late yesterday evening local time, around midnight, in the High Atlas mountains, reportedly causing at least 820 deaths and 670 injuries. The epicenter was in the High Atlas Mountains , 71km, 945mikes),, South East of Marrakech, at a depth of 18,5km, the US Geological Survey said.
The cities concerned by the quake, are Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, Rabat Casablanca… US President Joe Biden extended, on Saturday his condolences with Morocco after an overnight earthquake in the North African country killed more than 820 victims.
