I vote more on the left, but I' voted for you. He (Hervé Morin, editor's note) did the job for five years. He did it with passion and he loved every day. He demonstrates the convictions that are his to bring out this community of destiny that 'is this regional community. It has carried out innovative policies. You know, when Yves-Marie Rives Malek, who was on Nicolas Mayer Rossignol's list, five years ago, the mayor of Verneuil sur Avre said I want to come to your meeting, it was meetings. Simply by Facebook Live at the very beginning, by saying Here, me, I am a man of the left, I have values ??of the left, but I will vote Morin because he did the job and that if not, you cannot explain to yourself how you do 45% with a quadrangular with four lists , it's not possible".

HERVE MORIN RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF THE NORMANDY REGION & REGRETS THE HIGH ABSTENTION RATE ON RADIO FRANCE BLEU Herve Morin, Centrist de Right, whose slogan “Living in Normandy” won the regional elections in Normandy in 2021 on Sunday 27 June. I will not repeat what everyone says. Of course, the question of mistrust with regard to politics. There is of course also the pedagogy on the action of a regional council, I was not convinced that it there are many Normans who know that it is first and foremost the region that supports regional businesses, high schools, transport. "------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When asked whether there was a problem of legitimacy given the strong abstention, Herve Morin replied: "In this case, we must stop democracy. We must then also ask the question about the presidential (2017, editor's note) because for the first time we had a head of state elected with far from 50% of the vote since there was a lot of abstention. " Hervé Morin acknowledged, him and his team will govern the region, in a united way with the other parties: "I extend my hand to everyone by nature to decide together, to build together. I explained that my first list round will be my list of 2nd round. A framework of center and right but with people from different backgrounds. During the previous mandate, the opposition very often voted our deliberations. We are not going to relaunch discussions of political apparatuses . We will have a majority in the region. When it comes to thinking about projects, there is no problem to think together. But I have enough competent people. " Source France blue

Herve Morin being one of the three other heavyweights of the right, namely Valerie Pecresse (winner of the Ile de France region), Laurent Wauquiez winner of the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region, Xavier Bertrand, winner of the Hauts de France region, differentiates him from others by his solid bond to the ground, and openness approach over the international stage …added to his won political profile of being former minister of Defence, and he has a lot of sex appeal towards the media, though his annual Normandy World Peace Forum to be held in Abbaye des Dames, Sept 30, Oct 3rd (the headquarters of the Normandy region). The next fourth edition of the forum that drags thousands of people all over the world including high profile experts of Peace, resolution of conflicts, diplomats, researchers, etc….All these speakers and panelist shall discuss, this year on contemporary conflicts,. During the conferences, evening events and debates, paths for reflection and action will be identified to better govern peace with two major issues: Why does peace is slipping out of our hand? And how to have it back? One of the asset of this forum is that it is open to all, and in the meantime, broadcasted across the world, and award the The Freedom Prize 2021. It is an educational initiative which aims to raise awareness of freedom, peace and Human rights, inspired by the values of the D-Day landings of 6 June 1944 in Normandy. NORMANDY IS THE MOST FAMOUS REGION IN THE WORLD OVER WORLD NORMANDY PEACE FORUM---- Normandy is the most famous Region in the world because many notorious people are native to the Region , such as Thomas Pesquet, the french Astronaut, Christine Lagarde and Marcel Proust! It is also the in Normandy that Herve Morin founded the World Noramndy Peace forum, issuing the Global Peace Index. It is also in Normandy that "Format Normandy" a diplomatic quattuor for peace including France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine, was born.--------------------------------------------------------- Aquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charentes is the largest of the regions. With its 85,000 square kilometers, it is ten times the size of Corsica. The Languedoc-Rousillon-Midi-Pyrenees and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions each represent the equivalent of Ireland, around 70,000 square kilometers. Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine is just behind with 57,000 square kilometers. Corsica is both the smallest and the least populated of the new regions. Ile-de-France is the second smallest on the new map, but it is by far the most populated. It has 12 million inhabitants, or nearly one in five French people. Ile-de-France largely dominates the ranking with a GDP of over 600 billion euros. It's huge, it's the equivalent of a country like Switzerland and it's three times more than the second on the podium, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. THE BUDGETS OF THE REGIONS ARE ON AVERAGE € 2.2 BILLION----------------------------------------------------------- The regions operate on average with a budget of 2.2 billion euros. For example, the annual budget of the Hauts de France region in 2020 is € 3.45 million, for Normandy: € 2.7 billion, for Ile de France, the budget is € 5 billion, and for the PACA region the annual budget is € 2.5 billion. When we add up the 13 budgets, we arrive at around 25 billion, which is hardly more than that of Catalonia. After the reform, we will therefore have larger regions, but not richer. And when we take the unemployment figures, it is Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie that comes first with a rate of 12.5%, just ahead of Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées (12%) and PACA (11.5%). The regions with the least unemployed are Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Brittany and Pays de la Loire with a rate of 8.8%. Source: French Regions.
