The French Minister of Health, Olivier Veran, gets vaccinated with the AstraZeneca last monday 4th February, as he was paying a visit to the healthcare team at the hospital of Melun. Today, at the end of the weekly Council of Ministers and the Defense Council, Gabriel Attal, spokesman for the government, explained that: lactation has "little changed for two weeks" He added that "We are still on this same high plateau which appears to have been declining slightly for a week. THE MINISTER OF HEALTH OLIVIER VERAN GETS VACCINATED TO SET AN EXAMPLE-------------------------------
The French Minister of Health, Olivier Veran, himself a neurologist by training, was vaccinated on Monday February 8, at Melun hospital, during one of his recent visits by caregivers to encourage vaccination. The minister wished to set an example: "I invite all caregivers to be vaccinated, in their hospitals, town centers, all the structures at their disposal, in order to be able to protect themselves as quickly as possible", a- he told the press after his injection. Still in his educational message, Minister Veran explained that he would return to the Melun hospital in nine to twelve weeks, to receive his second injection. At the launch of the vaccination campaign, he said that "being an example is waiting your turn." "The day it will be open to caregivers under 50 [...], I will be delighted to go get vaccinated and protect myself against this virus," he said a month earlier on January 12. Today it is done. The minister of the snate is the only member of the government who was vaccinated in front of the media cameras, to set an example.

After a vaccination campaign that started slowly in France on February 10, 2021, nearly 2,500,000 vaccinations were carried out in France. Attached are the cumulative daily data from the Ministry of Health, in the whole country, and the the detailed targeted people to be vaccinated in priority.

3. WHAT ARE THE PRIORITY AUDIENCES
Vaccinated people are among the priority audiences defined by the health authorities:
§ Elderly people in EHPAD or in USLD (~ 0.6 million people);
§ People over 75 (~ 5.5 million people);
§ All healthcare workers (~ 2.2 million people);
§ Vulnerable people at very high risk of serious forms as mentioned by the orientation advice for the vaccination strategy (~ 0.8 million people);
§ Firefighters (~ 0.3 million people);
§ Home help for disabled or elderly people (~ 0.4 million people);
§ Vulnerable disabled people taken care of in nursing homes and specialized homes (<0.1 million people).
4. HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET VACCINATED?-------------------------------------------------------------------
§ Via the website www.santé.fr which provides access to the online appointment platform of each vaccination center;
§ Via the local systems made available to help make appointments (departmental or regional telephone platforms for example);
§ In case of difficulty, via the national toll-free number (0 800 009 110) which allows you to be redirected to the switchboard of a center or to obtain support in making an appointment.
5. WHAT ARE THE ACCESSIBLE DATA AND INDICATORS?-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently available indicators concern the daily number of people who have received at least one dose, by injection date, by age group and by sex. This number is also available in aggregate and the indicators are broken down at the national and regional level.These indicators are published daily in open data on the data.gouv.fr site and are accessible directly via this link or on data.gouv.fr, by going to the bottom of the page in the “Featured datasets“ section. and by selecting “Data relating to people vaccinated against Covid-19 (VAC-SI)“. It is then possible to download the various files in the “Resources“ section at the bottom of the page.Other data concerning vaccination are also freely accessible:
- Data on appointments made in vaccination centers
- Data relating to stocks of vaccine doses
- Data relating to vaccine deliveries
- Data relating to vaccination locations
Additional data will gradually supplement these first indicators. The provision of new indicators, reliable and expert, as well as the rise of these indicators in open data, respond to a strong commitment to transparency by contributing to the good information of each, while allowing to support the monitoring of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
