USPA NEWS - The Women´s Forum Deauville announced, last week that Womens Womens´ Forum Dubai 2016 co-organised by the Womens Forum and the Dubai Women Establishment, will take place 23-24 February 2016 in Dubai. Shamsa Saleh and Jacqueline Franjou talked at the Press conference held in Deauville.

JACQUELINE FRANJOU AND SHAMSA SALEH ANNOUCING THE NEXT WOMENS FORUM IN DUBAI AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHO IS JACQUELINE FRANJOU : CEO of the Womens Forum, Jacqueline Franjou previously held senior management roles in the private sector. Cegos, Air France and Vivendi (Nexity-SFR), Veolia, (SNCM) and in the public sector as a counsellor for the French Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade. She founded the famous international Ramatuelle Festival of Theatre and also founded several international Festivals, and Chairman of Figures of Peace, an international association promoting the photos of living Nobel Peace Prize Winners. She produced several films on the theatre and authored several books and catalogues. She has great international experience in Africa, Asia and Latin America and received several distinctions (Commander of Arts and Letters, Officer of National Merit, Officer of the Legion of Honour) from the French Government. She is a board member of Vranken Pommery and Lucas Carton.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHO IS SHAMSA SALEH : Shamsa Saleh began her career with Dubai Women Establishment in 2008, rising up the ranks from Director of Strategic Planning & Corporate Development to Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Under her management, DWE has grown from strength to strength which includes the initiation of crucial projects that fulfil the Establishment´s stated mission to enhance the role of UAE women as vital workers and contributions in their society. Within her capacity as several programs and events which includes Arab Women Leadership Forum, Women in Board initiative, women Leadership Exchange Program, Emirates Leaders Gathering and many more. Recently, Shamsa Saleh was appointed as General Coordinator of the UAE Gender Balance Council, a new important step taken by the UAE towards empowering women.

WHAT SHAMSA SALEH AND JACQUELINE FRANJOU SAID AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE ---------------------------- Jacqueline Franjou to Shamsa and the audience: My dear Shamsa, thank you for the greetings. Now for one year, we know each other as we spent a lots of time. In 2012, we were receiving you at the Wand me and my team, built upon confidence and warmth and friendly relationship, between us.Now we need energy especially because WF is the “Energise the world“ edition. The foreign delegations of South Africa, Mauritius, Tunisia and yourself, are being part of the 70 countries as speakers and participating to this 11th edition of the WF. We, the organisers of WF and including these delegations said that they want to come to Dubai for the next WF in February 2016. I know h=you have attended CEO´ s champion session, I had myself to attend 3 lunches at the same time, with the South African delegation (They have signed with WF and they are going to the WF in Dubai. Then I went to the Tunisian lunch and the Tunisian delegation is also planning to be in Dubai next WF on February. So time is there to construct. what we had experience form Milan, we would like ti build this together with you for the next generations in education, it is important and I´m convinced that you will innovate in Dubai for a longtime. “

It os the first time that WF will be held in North Africa (Tunisia in September 2016) and Middle East in Dubai. We intend to building on the theme “Let´s Innovate“ on Womens Forum Dubai and focus on what innovation really means. Discussions and workshops will move beyond the usual expectations for and reservations about technology to address what part tradition can play in innovation as well as the sustainable role of women.“----------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------Shamsa Saleh continues : “In Middle East we are led by innovative actions.
