USPA NEWS - Stephane Le Foll, Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry has completed the installation of the Observatory of the Agricultural Technical Education (OETA), on September 28, 2015. The Observatory of the Agricultural Technical Education was created July 15, 2015.

Stephane Le Foll, Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry has completed the installation of the Observatory of the Agricultural Technical Education (OETA), on September 28, 2015.--------------------------------------------------------------------- The Observatory of the Agricultural Technical Education was created July 15, 2015, and is responsible for evaluating the independent organisation and the results of the public and private technical agricultural education, and its adequacy in terms of qualification and employment but also educational and vocational integration of pupils, students, apprentices and trainees.The observatory will report annually to the Minister for Agriculture. This report will be presented to the National Council of Agricultural Education (CENA) and will be made public. The observatory is composed of twelve members appointed because of their expertise in evaluation or in education. Stephane Le Foll announced on this occasion the launch in early 2016 of a prospective study on careers and training in agricultural education by 2030. The observatory will be closely associated with this work, which will feed into reflections.  COMPOSITION OF THE OBSERVATORY FOR AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL EUCATION OETA-------------------------  - Mme Anne-Marie Boulengier, former Regional Director of Food, Agriculture and Forestry of Limousin -Mme Françoise Cartron, Senator of Gironde, Vice President of the Senate, Member of the Committee on Culture, Education and Communication -M. François Dubet, sociologist, director of studies at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) - M. Alain Faure, Deputy of the Ariege, a member of the Finance Committee - Mme Françoise Ferat, Senator of the Marne, secretary of the Commission for Culture, Education and Communication Mr. Christian Forest, former rector - Mme Brigitte Gehin, responsible for the development pole to the National Union of Rural Family Houses of education and guidance - M. Fernand Girard, former Delegate General of National Private Agricultural Education Council- M. Jean-Claude Lebosse, former General Director of Education and Research - M. Henri Nallet, former Minister of Agriculture - Mme Odile Quintin, former Director General for Education and Culture at the European Commission - Mme Fabienne Rosenwald, Director INSEE Business Statistics Mr. Henri Nallet was named president of the Observatory of the Agricultural Technical Education and Ms. Françoise Cartron is the Vice President.
