Which PGA TOUR pros will be among the Top 20 to Watch in 2013 when the season kicks off the first week in January at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions? The countdown is under way on PGATOUR.COM. Each day, we will unveil the latest batch of players, with the No. 1 Player to Watch revealed Dec 28.
This is the fifth consecutive year that PGATOUR.COM has previewed the upcoming season with its Top 100 list. The names and order of this list were determined during mulltiple discussions among PGATOUR.COM staffers and other officials.
We did have certain criteria for inclusion into the Top 20 list. Among those players who received automatic spots on the list:
“¢ Every player who won a PGA TOUR event in 2012
“¢ Every player who finished in the top 70 in FedExCup points after the 2012 FedExCup Playoffs
“¢ The top five players on the final 2012 Web.com Tour money list (in other words, the top five of 'The 25')

The remainder of the list was filled with wildcard picks, players we considered worthy of being included.
