The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power at Lucca Comics & Games 2022

USPA NEWS - Lucca October 30th 2022 - One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them; In the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

The third day of Lucca Comics & Games opened under the banner of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Area Movie, curated by QMI, brought the protagonists of the Prime Video series, Cynthia Addai-Robinson (“Regina Reggente Miriel”), Ismael Cruz Cordova (“Arondir”) and Sophia Nomvete (“Principessa Disa”) to the stage of the Teatro del Giglio at 11 AM.

The three actors took part in an hour-long panel that offered behind-the-scenes stories from the set of the hit series. They answered the questions of the Director of Lucca Comics & Games Emanuele Vietina and showed three short clips from the series, each one explaining why it was their favorite scene.

For them, before the panel, the Community Carpet was spread, the red carpet of Lucca Comics & Games, the first festival of its kind to have a red carpet where the public is the absolute protagonist. Episodes 1 and 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, for the first time on the big screen, were then screened at the Astra Cinema at 2 PM.
