USPA NEWS - France will participate from 24 to 26 March 2015 to one of the most important meetings of the actors of humanitarian aid, the 'Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition "(DIHAD) at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a delegation to represent France with a trade debate Pavilion and Exhibition French expertise in humanitarian matters.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DIHAD 12th CONFERENCE HELD UNDER H.H SHEIKH MAKTOUM PATRONAGE RULER OF DUBAI------------- Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai, supported by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Est., the United Nations, the UAE Red Crescent Authority, International Humanitarian City, Dubai Cares and the Organisation of Islamic Conference. “¨INDEX will host the 12th Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition ““ DIHAD ““ 2015.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The DIHAD conference, is the 12th edition, which reviews the major current humanitarian trends, will bring together key UN agencies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, foundations, individuals from academia, the media and innovative companies in the humanitarian field. The 2015 theme is "Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability: The Humanitarian Aid and Development Perspectives ". The conference includes visits from 330 companies from 66 countries and 900 visitors. The sessions are organized around ten themes, and workshops with the participation of fifty speakers including six governmental Representatives.

FRENCH PAVILION FOR DEBATE AND EXHIBITION--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Within "FRANCE" pavilion space is dedicated for debate and exhibition, the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this year will bring NGOs and French companies involved in humanitarian action, and thus will value the expertise of France with the main customers of humanitarian aid and development. This presence will also develop contacts with the new actors in the humanitarian arena, including the Gulf States. The delegation includes key partners such as: "Electricians Without Borders" "Islamic Relief France", "Libraries Without Borders", "HumaniTerra", "Thales", "Helicopters Airbus" "Losberger" "Secours Populaire".-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The presence of France in this important international event finally will aim to raise awareness of the French positions on major issues of aid Humanitarian, especially in anticipation of the Global Humanitarian Summit in 2016.----------For more information see www.dihad.org, www.diplomatie.org
