USPA NEWS - The U.S. Department of Commerce and Columbia University today announced that they will co-host the first-ever Future of Urban Innovation Summit, which will take place at the Columbia University campus in New York City on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. The summit is part of the Commerce Department´s efforts.

The Future of Urban Innovation Summit is a one-day event focused on the various channels that comprise the innovation eco-system. Academia, industry, entrepreneurs, finance, and commercialization - the entire journey from idea to innovation will be explored and discussed during this landmark event.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lee C. Bollinger became Columbia University's nineteenth president in 2002 and is the longest serving Ivy League president.
