Martin Page is exploring the World's situation after an uncredible Event happening during an Evening Party where the Hero felt asleep. When he wakes up Everyone is dead around him in the Flat and after moments of Panic, he realizes being on his own and having to Survive whatever it takes. Dying or turned into a Zombie, those are not the Options the Hero likes much. So, we see him struggling, developing thoughts, making plans... The Novel through this exceptional situation tends to analyse Our Society and what could be changed not to end up into a Catastrophic Ending.

Zombies are most commonly found in horror and Fantasy Genre Works. The Term comes from Haitian Folklore, where a Zombie is a Dead Body reanimated through Various Methods, most commonly Magic. Modern Depictions of the Reanimation of the Dead do not necessarily involve Magic but often invoke Science Fictional Methods such as Carriers, Radiation, Mental Diseases, Vectors, Pathogens, Scientific Accidents, etc.
